We chose our wax blend for slow, clean fragrance release. It gives us an option that avoids soy, paraffin, palm and beeswax without presenting one plant wax as the answer for every buyer. Small-batch production gives us direct control over three points. First, we check fragrance distribution through the wax. Second, we inspect the finish once the wax has set. Third, we complete quality checks before the products leave the workshop. Every fragrance is tested for cold scent throw and hot scent throw. Cold throw describes the fragrance released before lighting or warming. Hot throw describes the scent released when the wax is heated. Testing performance does not make scent preference objective.
