Discover Wax Melts: Flameless Fragrance for Your Home Welcome to our collection of wax melts! If you’re looking for a flameless way to bring beautiful aromas into your space, you’ve come to the right place. Wax melts are small, scented pieces of wax designed to be gently warmed, releasing their fragrance into the air. They offer a unique way to enjoy your favourite scents without an open flame, making them a popular choice for many homes. Our Signature Wax Blend: The Secret to a Superior Scent Experience At the heart of our wax melts is our carefully crafted coconut and rapeseed wax blend. We use our own coconut and rapeseed wax blend, nothing else added, for a slow and clean fragrance release. This unique formulation is chosen specifically because it allows for a gradual and consistent scent throw, ensuring your home is filled with fragrance for longer. Our commitment to quality and purity means we are soy-free and paraffin-free by choice. While some wax products use soy, we prefer our custom coconut and rapeseed blend for its performance characteristics. Similarly, paraffin is a common choice for wax products, but we avoid it due to concerns over indoor air quality. Our blend is also palm-free, beeswax-free, non-GMO, and made without bee-harming pesticides, reflecting our dedication to a clean and conscious product. Wax melts are designed to be used in a wax warmer, either an electric model or one that uses a small tealight. As the wax gently heats, the fragrance oil mixed within it is released into the air. This process can make wax melts feel stronger than traditional candles because the fragrance releases quickly when warmed. Each melt is made by mixing approximately 10% fragrance oil into our wax blend, which is then hand-poured into rubber moulds and left to set for 24 hours. Once the scent fades, it’s time to replace your melt for a fresh burst of fragrance. Every single one of our wax melts is hand-poured in small batches in Nottingham. This artisan approach, which we’ve maintained since 2018, is crucial for several reasons. Small batches give us exceptional control over the fragrance distribution throughout the wax, ensuring an even and consistent scent. It also allows us to meticulously monitor the wax finish and conduct thorough quality checks on every product before it reaches you. We rigorously test every fragrance for both its cold scent throw (how it smells before heating) and its hot scent throw (how it performs when warmed) to guarantee a delightful experience. Enjoying your wax melts is straightforward. Always use them in a suitable electric or tealight warmer. When adding your melt, be careful not to overfill the dish of your warmer. Crucially, never add water to your wax warmer. For safety, never leave your warmer unattended while in use. Once the wax has cooled completely, you can safely remove it and swap in a new melt when you’re ready for a different aroma. While both wax melts and candles bring fragrance to your home, they do so in different ways. Wax melts are flameless, offering a fast and often more intense initial scent release when warmed. They are an excellent alternative if you prefer not to have an open flame. For comparison, our standard 220g candles, which use zinc-free and lead-free wicks, are designed to burn for approximately 45 hours when used correctly, providing a longer, sustained fragrance experience. We understand that many of our customers are pet owners. While we are not vets, we believe it’s important to consider your furry friends. An animal’s nose is far more sensitive than ours, so forcing strong scent on them unnecessarily is not a kind choice. If you have concerns about using fragranced products around your pets, we always recommend consulting your veterinarian for their advice specific to your animal’s health and sensitivities.
